Local Council Supplier (Tier V):

A BSA/Local Council/Supplier Product Sourcing Agreement is available to manufacturers who are interested in selling to only a single council. To qualify as a Local Council Supplier, the company must be located within the service area of the council and products may not be sold for resale. Typical BSA Requirements for Local Council Suppliers

You may qualify to become a Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Local Council Supplier, provided you are a manufacturer, rather than solely a middleman or distributor, and if your company meets the following requirements:

Local Council Supplier (Tier V):
  • Supplier must be located within the service area of the council
  • Products may not be sold for resale
  • Local supplier is selling only to the local council or its units
Any local suppliers interested in selling more to one council or unit is required to have a license agreement and subject to the requirements set forth in that agreement set by BSA Licensing.
